Social Content Creation @harrodsfood

As one of two assistants working alongside the Creative Lead within the Home & Lifestyle team, we produced all content for the @harrodsfood Instagram account, which showcased the iconic Harrods Food Halls. This content also appeared across Facebook and RED, China’s social media platform, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across multiple channels.

Our work began with concept and ideation and moved through to production and delivery. I collaborated closely with the social team and lifestyle editor to craft social-first, storytelling moments. I played a key role in developing creative briefs, working closely with the photography and video teams to bring each idea to life. I also captured and edited content myself.

The role involved managing the logistics of coordinating all necessary product and props for every shoot. Due to regular early morning shoots and tight time constraints, often capturing up to seven pieces of content in a single day, anticipating logistical issues in advance became a core strength, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.

Food styling was integral to the role. On set, I took on dual stylist and director responsibilities, working meticulously to ensure every piece aligned with specific content pillars, reflected Harrods’ tone of voice and looked delicious!
